Wooh The Temptations
Went Queensway on another cheapstuff hunting trip with Mabs and found cheap sports accessories and bags! Some of the stuffs are like 30 40+ dollars cheaper than stores outside and my hands were itching the whole time - well, i used to be a adidas+nike fan(stares at neglected pile of adidas+nike bags at the corner). Mabs tried to tempt me into getting the same pair of Vans shoes that she has but no, i'm strong! Haha. For the time being, you'll see. Hopped over to AnchorPoint where i was sorely tempted to get a bag from Charles&Keith(remembers a certain Colours&Kiss joke, LOL) which was on 30% discounttttt. Crossed over to Ikea for meatballs+salmon+chickenwings lunch while i weigh the bag's pro&cons and review my current financial situation before deciding to get the bag. Alas, their instocks were in lousy condition and we had to go down to the CityLink branch. Bumped into StephanieLee at the bus stop(what a tiny world) where we all took the same bus to Bugis.
Waited at the traffic light like the law-abiding citizens we are while tourists all jay-walked ard us as we discussed abt being fined for jay-walking. Visited our usual ulu-and-stinky-but-freaking-cheap watch shop and tried to tempt Mabs into getting the red watch that she has been eyeing on since eons ago but ended up getting the gold watch i've been eyeing on instead(ah, the wonders of karma). Mission: Tempting-Mabs-into-buying-stuff was nearly successful when we saw this bucket bag at 30bucks but couldnt fit A4! Wasted. Trained to CityLink to get my C&K bag and failed to tempt Mabs(again) into getting the bag she has been eyeing on since eons ago(CNY pls). Dinner-ed at Shokudo, made plan for next tues(the last before sch starts D:) and went home!
Ah my C&K bag in the background. Paid 55.70 for both, worthwhile aye?
